Worship and Reading Plan

This Worship/Reading Plan can be adapted to suit everyone’s need. The way I have it you ready about 10 chapters a day. 5 in the morning and 5 in the evening. Can take about 45 minutes to an hour. Some might say they don’t have time which I reply generally that we binge watch tv shows and movies and yet take no time to get to know and worship our Lord and Saviour. I speak from a guilty heart.

I begin each session with the following:

  • Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6.9-13)
  • Confession of Sins/Communion
  • Daily Readings (Listed below in the table.)
I then end each session with the following:
  • Creed from the Bible (All or at least 1 of the following readings)
    • John 1.1-14
    • Romans 10.9-10
    • 1 Corinthians 8.6
    • 1 Corinthians 15.1-22
    • Philippians 2.6-11
    • Colossians 1.12-20
    • Colossians 2.8-15
    • 1 Timothy 2.5-16
    • 1 Timothy 3.16
  • Closing Prayer
  • Doxology
